How to keep your laser lens and optics clean

Keeping the lens of your equipment clean and safe is very important. There are some tips that you can use to help ensure that your lens is clean and that it does not get damaged in the process. Proper cleaning will ensure that your lens stays in good shape so that it can be used for a long period of time.
Blow Away the Dust
You can use a blower brush to get the loose dust off of the lens so that there is no need to scrub it. Be sure to do this to the entire lens and go slowly so that all of the particles are removed. In some cases, this will be the only step that you need to take to clean your lens. Ideally, you will remove dust at least once per week, but if you use your equipment frequently, blowing off the dust each day is a good idea.
Use a Microfiber Cloth
This type of cloth is very gentle and will not cause scratches as you are cleaning your lens. Make sure not to use much pressure when using this type of cloth and work from the middle of the lens out using a circular motion. This will help to eliminate smudging and any streaks that can occur when wiping in any other direction.
Use a Lens Cleaning Fluid
It is very important to use a cleanser that is specifically made for the lenses that you need to clean. This helps to ensure that the lens will be safe and properly cleaned. It will also help in removing stains that can sometimes be hard to get off. Any dust that is still intact will also be removed by this cleaner so you can be assured that you will have a crystal clean lens after completing the job.
